Payment Arrangements
Our office accepts most credit cards, cash and checks. We have a wonderful outside billing service that arranges our payment plans: www.Carecredit.com. After completing a brief application, many of our patients are able to receive affordable payment plans; some offering no interest for a period of time. The application process is free and Cann Dentistry pays the fee for interest-free plans. Non-interest free plans are charged an interest rate similar to a credit card.
Our office allows you to assign insurance benefit payment to the practice such that the patient pays for the portion of the fee not covered by their insurance plan. Gail, our administrator, is always happy to explain your benefits to you and provide an estimate of the fee, the anticipated insurance payment and the portion owed by the patient.
Although we are not a “PPO” provider, patients often comment that the difference in fee for going to the dentist of their choice is not much more than choosing one “from a plan.” Dr. Cann is not a participating dentist because she feels an obligation to not limit the quality of her materials or the time she spends with patients. Lastly, we expect our practice to be built by reputation; not because our name was on an employer’s discounted list.
